Iretiola Olusola Ayinke (popularly known as Ireti Doyle) was born on May 3rd, 1967 in Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria. She is a Nigerian actress, writer and producer.

The stunning actress spent her childhood in Boston and New York City, both in the United States of America, before returning to Nigeria to finish her education. She returned to Nigeria and enrolled at Christ’s School in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, where she earned her West African Senior School Certificate. She then attended the University of Jos in Plateau State, where she earned a Diploma in Mass Communication as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts.
Iretiola Doyle Career
Doyle’s credits in the Nigerian entertainment industry span two decades and include stage, television, film, and print. She produced and presented her own show, Oge with Iretiola, for the first ten years. She has also hosted several Nigerian television shows, including Morning Ride on Silverbird Television and Nimasa This Week on Channels Television.
Doyle began acting in 1995, with the television series Riddles and Hopes. She has since appeared in several Nollywood films and television series, including Across the Niger, Sitanda, Torn, The Therapist, Fifty, The Arbitration, The Wedding Party (1 and 2), Dinner, Tinsel, For Colored Girls, and Gidi Up. In movies, she always plays the roles of a housewife, mother-in-law, and disciplinarian mother.
She appeared in the award-winning Nollywood film ‘The Wedding Party’ in 2016, alongside Richad Mofe Damijo (RMD), Banky W, Adesua Etomi, and other top Nollywood stars. She also appeared in the sequel to the film in 2017.
She has created memorable characters for hit shows such as Fuji House Of Commotion, Dowry, and Gidi Up.
